The quickest way to reach us depends on why you're getting in touch. Companies that want to use the API should request access. People who want to object to their phone number or e-mail address being checked should use the opt-out form. Security researchers should use the contact in our security.txt file.

## How do I get access to the API?

Use the [request access form](/request-access). Tell us your name, your work e-mail address, your company and website, what you want to use the checks for, your expected monthly volume and which services you need. We review each request against our [acceptable use policy](/legal/acceptable-use). Approved accounts get test and live keys and a starting balance. Test keys work immediately with the documented [test numbers](/docs/test-mode).

## How do I object to my number or e-mail being checked?

Use the [opt-out form](/opt-out). Enter the phone number or e-mail address, and the kind of request: objection, access or erasure. We review every request. Approved objections put the identifier on a suppression list, so it is not checked again. To protect everyone's privacy, the form's reply is the same in every case and never confirms whether we hold data about an identifier.
