Platform Rights & Removal Center

Platform owners, their authorised representatives, carriers and trademark owners can ask MobileValidate to review, restrict or remove a check that refers to their platform.

Last updated

MobileValidate checks whether a phone number or e-mail address can be reached on a given channel, and some of these checks name a third-party platform, app or network. Platform and brand names are used only to describe what a check refers to. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any of these companies. If you own or represent one of them and have a concern about a check, its wording or how it is offered, this center is the formal way to tell us. Submit a request.

Who may file a request?

  • Platform owners: the company that operates a platform, app or service named in our catalog.
  • Authorised legal representatives: the platform's legal team, or outside counsel acting for it.
  • Carriers and network operators: for checks that refer to their network.
  • Trademark owners: for the way a name or brand is used on our site.

Are you asking about your own phone number or e-mail address? Please use the opt-out form. It handles objections and access and erasure requests from individuals.

What happens after you submit?

  1. Confirmation. We send a link to the official e-mail address you gave us. It works once and expires after 24 hours. Your request becomes a case only after you confirm it.
  2. Case ID. Once confirmed, you receive a case ID in the format PR-YYYYMMDD-XXXX by e-mail. Please quote it in any reply.
  3. Verification of authority. We ask for a signed letter of authority or a confirmation from your counsel, and we may check it independently.
  4. Review. We review the request and its legal and technical basis. If a credible concern needs it, we may suspend the service concerned as a precaution during the review.
  5. Decision. We decide to deny the request with reasons, restrict the service (for example by changing how it is offered or described), remove it, or take no action, and we tell you the outcome. We do not reinstate a restricted or removed service automatically. A person must decide that, and the decision is recorded.

What this center does not do

Using the center does not take away any of your rights, and not using it does not grant us any. No request, reply or silence is treated as permission, consent, endorsement or a waiver. A case never includes which of our customers ran checks.

Privacy note

We use the details you give us only to verify, handle and record your request. These are your name, role, organisation, official e-mail address and domain, and what you tell us about the request. To prevent abuse we store a keyed hash of your network address, not the address itself, and the form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile. If the e-mail address is never confirmed, we delete the request after 30 days. A case is kept for 6 years after it is closed. See the privacy notice for details and your rights.

Frequently asked questions

Who can use the Platform Rights Center?

The owner of a platform, app, network or brand named in our catalog, or someone authorised to act for it: its legal team, its outside counsel, a carrier or network operator, or a trademark owner. Individuals asking about their own phone number or e-mail address should use the opt-out form instead.

Why do you need an e-mail address on our official domain?

It is the first step in checking that a request really comes from the organisation it names. The address must be on the official domain you give us, or on one of its subdomains. Free and disposable mailbox providers are not accepted. Your request becomes a case only after you confirm the address through the link we send to it.

Is a confirmed e-mail address enough?

No. Before we decide, we also verify authority. We usually ask for a signed letter of authority on the organisation's letterhead, or a confirmation from its counsel. We ask for documents by e-mail after the address is confirmed. Please don't send them with the form.

Can a service be suspended while you review a request?

Yes. If a request raises a credible concern, we may suspend the service concerned as a precaution while we review it. A suspension is not a decision, and a suspended service is not switched back on automatically. A person decides that, and the decision is recorded.

If we don't contact you, does that mean we agree?

No. Not using the center, not replying to us and staying silent are never treated as permission, consent, endorsement or a waiver of any right. MobileValidate is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the platforms named on this site.

Will you tell us which customers ran checks?

No. Customer data is confidential, so a case never includes which customers ran checks. Where the law requires us to disclose information, for example under a court order, we disclose only what that requirement covers.

How long do you keep a request?

If the e-mail address is never confirmed, we delete the request after 30 days. A case is kept for 6 years after it is closed, so we can show how it was handled. Details are in the privacy notice.
